I never fail to notice these and many other abandoned nests, that I seen in every size, shape and kind, hanging on/from bare trees in this time of the year. It makes me wonder at life, that these might have been home to many birds, made with so much labor and love, to raise their younger ones, once hidden and safe under layers of leaves, now bare, dead and deserted.

  1. Nice snap!

During winter, these birds migrate to the US of A and further south or some might go in hibernation. But when spring is back, these abandoned homes are reclaimed by some lazy fellows. 😀
